We have had these precious little goats for three years and have enjoyed them as a special part of our family. Unexpectedly, we have upcoming extended travel, and no longer have a caregiver available to take care of them in our absence. Regrettably, this requires we re-home them. These little goats are our pets, not part of a breeding herd. They’re super friendly, wonderful with other pets, children, chickens, and cattle. They come on command, provide hours of hysterical entertainment, and are such fun, loving pets. Our medium sized dogs love the goats, and we have trained the dogs to be very gentle while hanging out together and herding. They coexist as buddies. The goats require a well fenced area with plenty of room to roam. An enclosed shelter, protected from predators at night is essential. They are both very healthy – never an issue of any kind. They eat nutritious pellets, fresh hay, forage daily, enjoy both mineral and salt licks. They enjoy the occasional peanut as a treat. They love to be pet and brushed. It is quite difficult to consider finding a new home for out little girls. That being said, we will be very particular in where we will place them. I would rather pay to board them for a year than give them to individuals who do not care for them properly. I will only give them to a loving home, who will love them as family pets, and enjoy their fun, very social, gentle & loving personalities.
