Navigate and interpret various data, including insurance benefits, and relay information to patients accurately and professionally. 4. Document all collection efforts for each assigned account in accordance with established procedures. 5. Communicate collection efforts to management on assigned accounts in accordance with established standards. 6. Communicate regularly with management on status of problem accounts in accordance with established standards. 7. Updating patient files with valid insurance and/or contact information. 8. Periodically contacting insurance carriers to obtain the status of payment of a claim and/or challenge the processing of a claim. Required Skills and Competencies: 1. Flexibility in all aspects within the work environment 2. Good verbal and written communication skills 3. Good decision-making and problem-solving skills 4. Good time management and organizational skills 5. Ability to work in a team environment 6. Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends as needed 7. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products 8. Ability to take direction and implement instructions. 9.
