JOB DESCRIPTION & ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES JUNIOR DESIGN ASSOCIATE Must have minimum of two years residential design experience Role: To support the Principal & Senior Designer of Brianne Bishop Design which includes, but not limited to: - Site Measurements & Documentation - Autocad drawings: elevations, millwork details, RCP's, Furniture Plans - Graphics related to all presentation materials using InDesign; including "Design Packages" - Sourcing furniture per the design direction set by Principal and assuring the size is correct at all times - Administrative work: requesting and receiving quotes from vendors, turning quotes into proposals, issuing Purchase Orders (PO) to Vendors; receiving and approving Order Acknowledgements (OA), Cutting for Approvals (CFA) and tracking/expediting order through installation - Meeting Minutes & Agendas - Attend project meetings for assistance to Principal or Senior Designer - Scheduling and coordinating all contractor walk-throughs for measurements or labor quotes Responsibilities: - Supporting Principal & Senior Designer in all duties related to projects and General Office - Answering the phone - Assuring office is kept organized & clean by wiping down surfaces as needed and all putting materials away - Assisting in keeping Library organized - Taking turns with dishes, garbage & other general office maintenance work as needed (ie: refilling printer paper/ink) - Offering guests beverages when they arrive and organizing necessary dishware for presentations/meetings - Keeping organized project files (physically & on computer) - Always save all quotes, OAs, documents in appropriate folder under project on dropbox - Assure not too many programs are open at one time on computer to avoid crashing and losing data - Routinely do computer maintenance: disc cleanup, remove icons on desktop, empty recycling, etc

Each will need a different graphic design on the first page and 2 to 3 graphic designs on the rest of the pages of each document. I need to have some changes made to the first document that someone else did. It is much longer than the rest of them will be.
